Restored 3 Oct Update

[edit]

I think the 3 October update contains significant improvement and amplification to the Kalamazoo County article, so it should be included. I get the impression that somebody doesn't like the choice of uniform format that was adopted in that edit; if that still bothers, then we could go in and chg whatever date-presentation is bothering us. But let's not throw the whole thing out. The editor is a member of the Wiki Counties Project, and seems intent on improving the Wiki articles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.215.204 (talk) 21:56, 10 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]

And I removed it again. The edit removed multiple reference archive links without an update to the reference accessdate parameter to indicate that the original reference actually worked, removed a maintenance template for date format and then changed the date format in defiance of the template he removed without consensus, and in violation of WP:ENGVAR. You, IP, cannot possibly know the editor's motivation, nor can I. However, his motivation is irrelevant. The change did not improve the article and your restoration is in defiance of WP:BRD.
