Lazy?
[edit]How about typing RTK 11 in roman numbers like all the other ones?
The graphics on the official site (http://www.gamecity.ne.jp/sangokushi/11/ - note: uses Flash) use the notation "11" rather than "XI", although many internet sites I've seen continue to use "XI" perhaps for consistency. Nonetheless, if we go by what's displayed on the title screen, the official name of the game would be "Sangokushi 11", not "Sangokushi XI". Of course, whether this convention will carry over to the American release (if one occurs) remains to be seen. UOSSReiska 10:45, 20 May 2006 (UTC)
Series vs First Game
[edit]Should we somehow differentiate between an article on the series as a whole (if one is needed) and an article on the first game?W Solleni 01:47, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, we should. No one here has the resources to do it yet though. _dk 20:17, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
==I just want to ask if anyone else thinks this should be renamed Romance of the Three Kingdoms (computer game) or (video game) or something of that nature. The reason I ask is because this isnt very consistent right now. The parent article is under Sangokushi (which the casual reader has likely never heard of), while every single specific game entry is under ROTK. We should be using what English readers will know the series by. And this sin't a case of a bad dub or something, since ROTK is localized by Koei's own subsidiary (making the name official). Another thing to consider, there are references with games VII, VIII and X and how gameplay changes with consideration of RPG but there is no direct discussion on this page as to the differences between the computer game or the NES release. As far as I remember, there was no earthquakes in the NES release. Yahoofx (talk) 18:06, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Still no resolution to this, almost 10 years later. This is really bugging me. (user not registered) 6:56, 18 May 2015 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:NES Three Kingdoms.png
[edit]Image:NES Three Kingdoms.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Proposed merge with Sangokushi Internet
[edit]Unsourced. If the early games can't be individually sourced, they should be merged to the main series article. czar 04:51, 20 March 2016 (UTC)
- Unsourced and very short, with no objection in one year, merged.--A Sword in the Wind (talk) 14:24, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
