Renaming
[edit]If kept (nice work, Meelar) this should assuredly be renamed to something like 2003 US Steel Tariff, and a link made from WTO. -- Finlay McWalter 01:02, 12 Jan 2004 (UTC)
Why should it be renamed when the tariffs were imposed in 2002? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 130.15.162.47 (talk • contribs) 23:39, March 15, 2006.
I have renamed the article from United States steel tariff 2002 to 2002 United States steel tariff. I've also fixed redirects. Ourai т с 00:56, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
more impact
[edit]„Bush's experience shows us that the tariff ultimately has mixed results. Manufacturers that depend on cheap steel for their supply chains get hurt. When all was said and done, the Institute for International Economics (IIE) estimated that as many as 26,000 jobs were lost in steel-using industries (like the auto industry, for example).“ (http://www.businessinsider.de/bush-steel-tariff-impact-2017-7?r=US&IR=T ) --Schwobator (talk) 14:39, 26 July 2017 (UTC)
