Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sunday, Bloody Sunday (film)
Non-notable and/or not verifiable. IMDb is unaware of "writer/director Hunter Abbey" or his three alledged films (see previous three listings--found this after listing the others), and only knows of Dan Weekes-Hannah's performance on The Tribe. All combinations I tried with google resulted in zero relevant hits or a couple Wikipedia mirrors, except for one interview with Dan Weekes-Hannah for a New Zealand young adult magazine[1] that doesn't mention anything about Abbey being a writer or director. That includes trying to find "Young Filmaker's Showcase" or "Young Filmmaker's Showcase". Niteowlneils 21:24, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Is this in any way related to the Bloody Sunday Massacre? If so, merge with the 'Artistic Reaction' section and delete. Darksun 21:30, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
Delete:Prank/vanity, not notable enough. When the kid succeeds in getting noticed by the wider world, we may need an entry on him, but not now. This has the added problem that there is a film called Bloody Sunday from 2002 or 2003 that was an award winner for trying to recreate exactly what happened on the Bloody Sunday massacre. I suspect this young man was more in tune with U2 than that, but no need to malign him. Geogre 21:34, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)- Change to a redirect to
Sunday, Bloody SundaySunday Bloody Sunday. Much better solution. For those interested in the new one, it's Bloody Sunday (2002), and it's an exceptional documentary. Geogre 00:39, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)- Ideally somebody ought to double-check whether or not the title has a comma. According to imdb it doesn't, and Sunday, Bloody Sunday Sunday Bloody Sunday is a redirect to Sunday Bloody Sunday so presumably it doesn't. Looking at the seven imdb external reviews, six give the title without a comma, but [2] this one gives it with a comma, as do some DVD listings. So does Yahoo's filmography for John Schlesinger. I think Sunday Bloody Sunday is probably correct. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 01:08, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

- Delete, agree with Geogre. Note that that the entry for Dan Weekes-Hannah was blanked by author and has subsequently been speedy deleted. --Ianb 22:14, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Prank, vanity, or deliberate misinformation. Redirect to Sunday Bloody Sunday, a stubby but accurate article about the well-known 1971 film. [[User:Dpbsmith|Dpbsmith (talk)]] 23:11, 5 Sep 2004 (UTC)
- Personally, the topic Sunday, Bloody Sunday (film) puts me in mind of the 1971 flick with Peter Finch and Glenda Jackson, which is already listed on Wikipedia at Sunday Bloody Sunday. So even if this article were kept (although my personal vote is delete), the title would have to be changed to something more like Sunday, Bloody Sunday (2000 film).
