Article length
[edit]This article is much too long and contains many items that violate the WP:NOTEVERYTHING standards. The article is generally well sourced but does rely on self-published information in some cases. While citations are used throughout, there remains sections of uncited material. But the biggest issue is length and inclusion of events that are not noteworthy by Wikipedia standards WP:NOTEWORTHY.
Rather than make large cuts and slap onto the article maintenance banners and citation tags, I will give interested editors a chance to review the article and make appropriate edits to address these concerns. I will return the article at a later date and will take appropriate action in reducing content if that work has not yet been done. Go4thProsper (talk) 12:51, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
Notability
[edit]In 1850, this Eppa Hunton, at age 30, owned 6 enslaved people: a 30 year old black female and five children (a 14 year old mulatto female, 5 and 10 year old black boys, and three year and 5 month old black girls).
- What is the notability of this statement? What does it prove? It reads like an accusation, as though someone is trying to log penalty-points. Valetude (talk) 22:26, 15 April 2021 (UTC)
