Seal
[edit]I've seen the city seal many times, especially on the police cars. Where is it on the internet? --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 03:24, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
- They've redesigned their website, and taken it off most everywhere. You can still find it in the PDF downloads: a color version is in the Notice of Preparation of the Proposed City of Goleta Draft General Plan (link is here: [1]). Antandrus (talk) 02:57, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
Redirected?
[edit]i got here from a link on the 'list of massacres' page & the 'goleta postal massacre' page, shouldnt that only be about the shooting and not the entire history of the town?,the link to va tech shootings or any other on the list of massacres dont have the whole history of the town.

- See Wikipedia:Redirects. I'm a tad confused about what you're trying to do. --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 03:43, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Lake Los Carneros
[edit]If the seasonal Lake Los Carneros is counted, then shouldn't the census data show more than 0.1 sq mi of water? And there are a large number (3-4?) of creeks running through the city. --hello, i'm a member | talk to me! 06:21, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I've nominated Goleta, California for a GA Review. T Rex | talk 16:25, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

Goleta Architecture
[edit]An unregistered user added an Architecture subsection(2.6.0) in the Geography section(2.0.0) in between Fauna(2.5.0) and Urban Environment(2.7.0), but there is no content. Can someone please add content to it? Also, content has to be added to In Popular Culture(9.0.0), Environment(2.1.0), and Ecology(2.2.0). Evancahill (talk) 20:47, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
- I left another message for that user to please start citing their additions, since that's an official Wikipedia policy - I noticed they added back that nonsense about rattlesnakes being common in Goleta neighborhoods. (You can find them at the urban/wildland boundary, but this anon's additions have no such nuance.) Antandrus (talk) 21:35, 20 December 2015 (UTC)
Ok, they do appear occasionally but they aren't common, not like lizards, raccoons, and skunks. I'll add back in the Architecture, Environment, and Ecology if I can find any info about them. Evancahill (talk) 15:52, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
