Added Some 19th Century Authors
[edit]Project Gutenberg lists mainly 19th century Western authors on its specialized Western books page: http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Western_%28Bookshelf%29 We did not have about half of these listed here. So, I went ahead and added the unlisted ones with the exception of Washington Irving. The work Irving is listed for (Astoria: Or, Anecdotes Of An Enterprise Beyond The Rocky Mountains) is indeed about the western frontier, but is history (and maybe also biography), not fiction. It's not even historical fiction. DanQuigley 18:20, 7 December 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by DanQuigley (talk • contribs)

[edit]Hello, I'm working with OCLC, and we are algorithmically generating data about different Genres, like notable Authors, Book, Movies, Subjects, Characters and Places. We have determined that this Wikipedia page has a close affintity to our detected Genere of western-stories. It might be useful to look at [1] for more information. Thanks.
