There is vandilism that keeps occurring within these song articles. Someone help DrippingInk and I to stop them.

Capitalization of title

The Chicago Manual says, regarding the capitalization of titles, "3) Lowercase prepositions, regardless of length, except when they are stressed (through in A River Runs Through It), are used adverbially or adjectivially (up in Look Up, down in Turn Down, on in The On Button, or [Latin section omitted]. (Section 8.167, page 367 of the 15th Edition). So something like "Spice Up Your Life" (DrippingInk's version) is preferred by Chicago to "Spice up Your Life" (Mel's version). It's not vandalism per se as Mel Etitis makes --Calton | Talk 08:36, 11 May 2005 (UTC)

Being English, I don't rely on the recommendations (the manual itself stresses that that's all they are) of the Chicago Manual, but I'm happy to go along with reasoned (and reasonable) argument. Note, though, that I didn't say that this issue was vandalism; {{user|DrippingInk}] has (in his short time here under his current name) acted extremely badly across a range of issues, this business of a couple of prepositions being only the tip of the iceberg.
