[edit]- 14 years of operation history go here.
Not if it's 14 years of "The boat left Groton on a certain date, tootled around the Atlantic for awhile, and returned home on another date; lather rinse repeat".
Site One
[edit]I served on this boat for six years in the early eighties, so I don't know the dates of the shift in forward deployment, from Rota Spain to Scotland and thence to decommissioning. Perhaps some other earlier and later crewmembers who happen to be perusing this article could fill in specific dates, as Will Rogers was forward deployed at Site One for a significantly large portion of her operational lifetime.--Paraballo (talk) 03:55, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
- Done. Late August or early September 1978. I was part of the Blue crew for the patrol that began in Rota and ended it in Holy Loch. Patrol 38??--Trappist the monk (talk) 19:13, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- Thanks. The article looks more complete now.--Paraballo (talk) 01:33, 18 September 2009 (UTC)
