Page redrafted

The pages on political liberalism and on liberalism have been integrated into one page, the page Liberalism, together with remarks on the talk page liberalism. The new text takes into account the position of political liberals and of classical liberals. The labeling of progressive liberal views as being social democratic views have been deleterd. Old versions of the pages can be found at

Given the fact that this page can never be more than a stub now (either that or it becomes redundant with the main Liberalism article), shouldn't we turn it into a redirect? -- Mihnea Tudoreanu 11:58, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)
I agree and did it. --Gangulf 13:48, 16 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps the redirect should be replaced with a disambiguation page, or at least have a disambiguation page be reachable by clicking back on the redirect. People could be searching for John Rawls' book 'Political Liberalism'. I don't know how to create disambiguation pages, though. --Frekja 00:11, 29 Apr 2005 (UTC)
  • I'll do that. -- Jmabel | Talk 04:58, Apr 29, 2005 (UTC)

Recent changes

[edit]

I object to the recent changes to this page. It has now, once again, been "claimed" by one particular stream of liberalism, as if the others are not "liberal" (in particular, in the focus on individualism and negative rights). - Jmabel | Talk 03:57, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Electionworld has again made this a disambiguation to Liberalism and the John Rawls book, which is fine with me. - Jmabel | Talk 05:49, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
