Long admired and considered notable, it acquired a special status when singled out by Frank Sinatra in the film That's Entertainment! for the accolade: "Take a good look folks. As long as you live you'll never see the like of this again."
- An extensive search of the Astaire bibliography has uncovered no public domain images of this partnership in this or in any other routine, and no references have been located which point to the possible existence of such material.
