Rebadged Ford Explorer Sport
[edit]The article mentionned that it was a rebadged Ford Explorer, and only available as a 2-door SUV. Since the 2-door version of the Explorer was officialy called the Explorer Sport, I added the word "Sport". S3BST3R 05:39, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Firestone Controversy
[edit]OMFG. Why is this here? There were no problems with roll-overs until the second generation. There was no second generation Navajo, it was canceled at that time. So the Navajo was not effected. I see this as advertising or even spam. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by TempoAWD (talk • contribs) 02:52, 14 March 2007 (UTC).
- The section had fallen out-of-sync with the main Ford Explorer article, so I cut it down. Atarivideomusic (talk) 07:27, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

More controversy involving the Navajo Nation and Mazda?
[edit]True or false: there was a little controversy involving naming a vehicle after a Native American tribe in the early 1990s that had the tribal elders of Arizona's famed Navajo Nation totally offended at Mazda naming their SUV after the tribe...
Other reports say that it was a Native American(non-Navajo) tribal political figure that tried repeatedly to get the Navajos to sue Mazda into either renaming the SUV or dropping it altogether...
Can this also be verified?...thanks...Michaela92399 02:24, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
