"Knowledge in Danger" stories
[edit]This is a list of discussions about the pages that were removed, simply because they were not liked. Some of them were deemed to be neologisms, some un-encyclopaedic... see for yourself.
- Yes, that's right, this page was almost removed. Voting still continues as of now; however, it looks like i'll be allowed to have this page after all.
- Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Voluntarianism. (recreated)
- "Voluntarism: 1 Physosophy. the theory that the will rather than the intellect is the ultimate princile of reality. 2 a doctrine or system based on voluntary participation in a course of action. 3 another name for voluntaryism." Collins English Dictionary 1979 ISBN 000433078-1 and ISBN 000433080-3
- Question: How can a word that actually made it to the dictionary in 1979 be a neologism? Answer: It can't Deletionoholics were just upset that they didn't know about it, and that their god google wasn't good enough to find it.
- It was pointed out to me that the exact name of the page deleted is "Voluntarianism" not "Voluntarism", a search on http://activista.org/ did in fact prove that there is much more information on the latter than on the former, but the former also exists.
