My name is Emmanuel Teijeiro. I'm the original creator and writer of homestarrunner.com and related work. I hired the brothers chaps to create the site for me. They made me ceo of the company but I still haven't been either paid or credited merely because I've been homeless and they couldn't find me to establish stable contact. They caught up to me in Abilene in 2003 briefly but the computer I managed to get a line in my name hooked up to belonged to my roomate and she would have let me have it for personal use but she wasn't there at the moment for me to get her express permission and then I had to move out on account of unstable living conditions. Technically the fan base isn't being lied to. The story is that these guys are protecting my identity from the public, but I just got a copy of my valid id renewed today so I don't see the point in withholding this information.
