I have adapted the article to remove this controversial use, although it is acceptable in the linguistic sense.
I have reinstated text, as its use is indeed meaningful within both language and linguistic definitions, which are the most prominent definitions for this sociolinguistic concept. The JPS 02:19, 11 Jan 2005 (UTC)
