- I would say no. It is not uncommon for a team to have a "Chance" but miss the net so it would not be a SOG. Eomund (talk) 18:46, 5 November 2009 (UTC)
How is it that a "shot on goal" is commonly understood as defined here, but is left undefined in the rules? I have checked NH, ECHL and USA Hockey rule books for a definition and there is none. Justus R (talk) 19:34, 19 October 2022 (UTC)
